Evangelist Emmanuel Addai has disclosed that radio and Television personality Otwinoko popularly known in the industry but born Linsford Kwabena Asare is not blind but just faking and deceiving Ghanaians.

In a video sighted by your exclusive entertainment and sports site sirkenn.com, on facebook the controversial evangelist was heard saying that some antics and actions performed by Otwinoko contradicts that of a blind person.

“…. I can say this on authority that radio presenter Otwinoko is not blind. He’s faking his alleged blindness!! They say some prophets caused his blindness because he spoke against their works in his hay days. This is never true because there’s no prophet in Ghana. Otwinoko’s blindness is nothing but mind games when you monitor and critically analyse his actions and antics. A blind person can’t do that”, Evangelist Addai revealed.

Born Linsford Kwabena Asare but professionally known as Otwinoko is arguably the greatest radio personality ever to steer the console in the Ashanti Region in the early 2000s.

Otwinoko mainstream radio career started at Radio Mercury 91.5FM (now New Mercury 91.5FM). He was the host of popular show ‘Nsem Pii’ which runs from Monday to Friday 7-10pm.

One show that made him popular and people remember about his days at Radio Mercury was when he exposed one Yaw Donkor who murdered a palm wine tapper and seller, Marfo at Nyinahini in 2004.

He became a household name especially in Ashanti region with his good works and boldness on radio, which lead him to join multimedia radio station Nhyira FM in Kumasi and later left to Fox FM where his mysterious sickness which made him lose sight or go blind started.


Currently Otwinoko works with Kumasi FM and Royal Tv all in Kumasi.
