Former striker of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Saddick Adams has revealed how he turned down the first offer from the club when he returned into the country from Saudi Arabia.
The former Athletico Madrid player made these revelations in an exclusive interview with Ike on Ashh FM Super Sports on Friday, 2nd November.
“Immediately I came to Ghana from Saudi Arabia many clubs wanted my services including Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko”.
“Even some Hearts officials were ready to pay Me GH¢ 80,000 whilst Kotoko also offered Me GH¢ 30,000 plus credit every month but I saw Kotoko offer as the worse offer I have ever seen in my Career and an insult looking at the level of football I have played and where I have being”.
“I then rejected the offer from Kotoko and joined a team in Cyprus”.
“I finally decided to play Kotoko when former coach Pollack convinced me to join him at Kotoko when I returned from Cyprus”.
“I then accepted GH¢ 80,000GH for one season with GH¢ 2,000 as monthly salary”
Saddick is currently with Ashanti Gold football club at Obuasi.
