Executive council elect new gfa vice

The executive council of the newly formed Ghana football association has elected Mr Mark Addo as the new Veep to help the main President Mr E.S Okraku.

This election became necessary for electing the president following Anas number 12 exposed which lead FIFA to banned Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi for life.

A normalization committee headed by Mr Kofi Amoah was constituted running the FA till 25 October when they voted for a new president.

The astute businessman grabbed six of eleven votes of the Executive Council of the Ghana FA representing 55% to win the race over peoples favorite Mr Randy Abbey.



The new Ghana FA will serve the association for four years before another election.

Mr Mark is the Board Chairman for an independent Power Company and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Mathematics from the City College of New York.

He also double as the Chief Executive Officer of division one side Nzema Kotoko.

He brings on board his massive experience, contacts and knowledge in the business world which is much needed at a time Ghana football needs big sponsors to spur the game in the country.



Former FA vice Randy Abbey got four votes while Dr Toni Aubynn got just one vote.
