It’s been an emotional yet fulfilling day.

I always said that if that day comes when I walk, I will do it on my own terms and walk through the front door.

And as fate will have it the very man who mother tells me officiated my christening, Father Campbell, came to remind me on my last day at media work of the essence of life- to share and to serve.

I’ve been inundated with calls since morning all asking that singular question- is it true?

Well yes my friends it’s true.

The remarkable media journey which began in 2007 from 19/20 West Fijai in Takoradi with SKYY POWER 93.5 FM, waltzed to Kokomlemle with Joy 99.7 FM and landed at Nima junction, later Ridge, with Starr103.5FM GHOne TV and the EIB Network Ghana ended today.

It’s been 17 years of total commitment to the highest levels of excellence.

On my last chapter I wore multiple hats and wholeheartedly served.

I can with humility and yet with full confidence hold my head up high for my dedicated service wherever I’ve been thus far.

But like all phases of life, there comes a point when destiny calls and when it does, you must as a matter of principle accept.

So to all who made the journey thus far successful, I thank you.

To all my leaders who allowed me to exhibit my full range of talents I extend my heartfelt gratitude.

To my colleagues and fraternity members I thank you and cherish the relationships built. Once family always family.

To the network of contacts built, that’s my treasure worth its weight in gold I’d forever cherish and preserve.

To each and every one who knelt everyday in prayer for me, I felt it and I say thank you.

To the rising talents that I helped to mentor through the years I’m proud of what you’re becoming. I pray that the potential seen will be fully harnessed and the industry becomes better for it.

I love to succeed in all I do and so I look forward to the next chapter with full focus.

I pray for God’s grace to achieve higher heights and remarkable accomplishments.

Salute!

Upwards and Onwards.

For God and Country!
