Media figure Nana Kwame Gyan has officially ended his journey with Media General’s Onua 95.1 FM, bringing to a close a chapter marked by versatility, creativity, and consistent delivery.
The announcement which was made on his official Facebook page marks the exit of one of Onua FM’s hardworking behind-the-scenes and on-air talents who contributed significantly to the station’s growth in entertainment and morning programming.
During his time with Onua FM, Nana Kwame Gyan was not tied to just one desk. He served the brand in several key capacities, proving himself as both a producer and a presenter.
His roles included:
- Producer of the Mid-Morning Show – where he helped shape one of the station’s most engaging daytime programs
- Producer and Host of Onua Showbiz* – bringing entertainment news, celebrity interviews, and showbiz discussions to listeners
- Producer and Host of the 30 Minutes Entertainment Show* – a fast-paced segment that kept fans updated on trends, music, and pop culture
- Co-host on the Onua FM Morning Show* – where he added energy and insight to start listeners’ days.

Today, I officially close a beautiful chapter after 3 years and 6 months at Onua FM.
It has been an incredible journey of learning, growth, challenges, and unforgettable memories. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have served in different roles: producing the Mid-Morning Show, producing and hosting Onua Showbiz, producing and hosting the 30 Minutes Entertainment Show, serving as a co-host on the Onua FM Morning Show.
To management, my colleagues, guests, listeners, and everyone who supported and believed in me throughout this journey, thank you. Your encouragement, trust, and friendship have shaped me in many ways, and I will always be grateful.
