It appears that Amerado‘s “Kwaku Ananse” has captured the hearts of people from all social classes and age ranges.
Ben Dotsei Malor, the chief editor of UN News and a former deputy editor at the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), is the most recent person to commend the rapper for the inspirational work.
Ben posted one of the music remix’s promotional videos and called the message “uplifting.”
“SOMETHING DETERMINED ABOUT THIS – I THINK HE’S ABOUT RESILIENCE: Just stumbled upon this lovely and uplifting music #KwakuAnanseRemix by Amerado Burner. Not understanding all the Twi lyrics, but hearing, “LIFE IS A LONELY JOURNEY” and “I’M A SOLDIER” and I fear not. I fall and rise again 😉 Feels like A HUSTLER’S ANTHEM.
Well, if someone could please share the complete (translated) lyrics. ENJOY, he wrote.
Ben, a former communications director and presidential spokeswoman in Ghana, said he had listened to the song repeatedly from his home in South Sudan after Amerado left a remark on the page expressing his gratitude for the endorsement.
“Burner Amerado” Fantastic, dude. From the South Sudan, greetings. playing your music one hundred and fifty times. Godspeed on your hard work. God bless you abundantly and beyond Ghana’s borders. Excellent work. More strength to you,” he penned.
“Kwaku Ananse” by Amerado is a tale of perseverance. It delivers a message that many people may relate to. Following the original version’s overwhelmingly positive reception upon its debut a few months prior, he then released a more elaborate version with “Notin I Get” hitmaker Fameye.
On social media, a number of people—including pastors—are seen singing the song and connecting the lyrics to their own experiences.
