Popular media personality Naa Dedei Tettey has officially announced her resignation from the Excellence in Broadcasting, EIB Network.
The celebrated host of Starr 103.5FM‘s flagship morning show, #MorningStarr, confirmed that Friday, August 7th, marked her final day on air with the brand.
For the past two solid years, Naa Dedei has been the driving voice behind the station’s morning show, entertaining and informing listeners from 6:15am to 10:00am every weekday. Known for her sharp interviews, warm personality, and ability to break down national issues, she quickly became one of the most recognizable voices on Ghanaian radio.

In a heartfelt post shared on her Facebook page, Naa Dedei expressed deep gratitude to the management of Starr FM, her colleagues, and the millions of listeners who made her mornings memorable.

And just like that… we’ve come to the end.
On Friday, August 7, 2026, I hosted The Morning Starr on Starr 103.5 FM for the final time – closing a chapter that has been a huge part of my nearly decade-long journey with Starr FM and GHOne TV (EIB NETWORK)
Being the first substantive female host of the show, and having the privilege of leading it for two years, was an honour.
To the management, my producers, my colleagues and, most importantly, our listeners – thank you for the opportunity, the memories, the lessons and the love.
It’s the end of one chapter, but certainly not the end of the story.

During her tenure, #MorningStarr grew to become one of the most talked-about breakfast shows, blending news, politics, entertainment, and human-interest stories. Naa Dedei’s exit leaves a big gap in the station’s morning lineup and has already sparked reactions from fans and industry players across social media.
While she has not announced her next move, sources close to her say the award-winning broadcaster is exploring new opportunities in media and content creation.
The management of EIB Network is yet to issue an official statement on her departure and who will take over the morning slot.
EIB Network operates station like GHOne TV in Accra and Ultimate FM and Abusua FM all in Kumasi.
