–Kumasi – Fox FM 97.9mhz has lost one of its key pillars–
The station will from today miss the services of one of the hardest-working journalists and engineers behind Fox Sports, as Kofi Aristotle finally says goodbye.
The talented local sports presenter, who also doubled as a producer, has officially parted ways with the brand after two impactful years
Kofi, affectionately called Kofi Nurse by his peers and listeners, was a familiar and trusted voice every morning on the station’s flagship morning show and the main sports afternoon show. With his sharp delivery, deep local sports knowledge, and creative production, he quickly became a fan favorite.
He joined Fox FM on March 14, 2024, and since then contributed immensely to the growth and rebranding of Fox Sports — serving as producer, local sports presenter, and commentator.
Before joining Fox FM, Kofi Nurse previously worked with Adehyee FM and Agyenkwa FM all in Kumasi, where he built his reputation as one of the most promising sports voices in the Ashanti Region.
Sources close to the station indicate his departure leaves a big void in the Fox Sports team, as he was considered one of the backbones of their local sports production.
Fox FM is yet to announce who will take over his role.
