Popular relationship host Akosua Addai Mununkum, better known as Maa Akos, has narrated to her that she has parted ways with Akoma FM.

The host of Akoma Mu Nsem on the Kumasi-based radio said it was difficult for her to leave a brand she had worked so hard to build, but she had on potion to leave.
Narrating the news to One Ghana TV, she said the main reason was that some individuals were undermining her efforts.

She disclosed that the Akoma management was not supporting her work by getting her the supplies she required for the show, and when she voiced her complaints, they responded by saying she enjoyed whining.
Additionally, she affirmed that she and her entire crew have joined TV and Ezra FM (94.1 mhz) and television at Adum Kumasi.
She also confirmed that she and her whole team have joined Ezra FM (94.1 mhz) and TV to do the same program but under a under a different name.
She stated that media personalities in Accra doing the same job are respected, treated well, and also live better than those in Kumasi, but they expect to produce the same results.
According to her, media figures working in Accra receive high level of respect, treatment, and enjoy good standard of living than their Kumasi counterparts, but they also demand the same outcomes.
Until her resignation, she was the host of “Akoma Mu Nsem” on Akoma 87.9 MHz every weekday between 12:40 and 3 p.m.
