According to her, she has stopped working with the label owned by rapper and entrepreneur D-Black for some time now.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra 100.5 FM on Thursday, October 24, 2024, the ‘E Choke’ singer said the label is not giving her ‘Vibration’ song the necessary push.
The artist, born Sefadzi Abena Amesu, said,
“First of all, my contract ended. You know I have always said that when you are working with people or people that you consider a family, it’s always a roller coaster; things happen, a lot of things come in, so you know there have been some business misunderstandings and all that,”
Sefa was signed to D-Black’s record label for about seven years and produced songs such as ‘Fever’, ‘E Choke’, ‘Shuga’, ‘Player’, and ‘Vibration’, among others.
In 2022, she won the Afrobeats Song of the Year award at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards with the song ‘E Choke’.
She is currently promoting her new single dubbed ‘All Over’ featuring Camidoh.
