Seasoned Kumawood actor, Kwadwo Kwekyre, makes a heartfelt appeal to the public for support amidst his kidney failure struggles.
The actor, who is currently receiving medical treatment, has been assisted by a GH¢20,000 donation from Francis Owusu-Akyaw, the Member of Parliament for Juaben, to support his escalating medical costs.
Kumawood actress Matilda Asare presented the donation on the MP’s behalf and took the opportunity to visit the ailing actor, offering words of encouragement and support.
The assistance is likely to ease the financial burden of Kwadwo Kwekyre’s treatment as he continues to receive medical care for the illness.
Receiving the donation, the actor expressed gratitude to the Juaben MP for the timely intervention, describing it as a huge relief at a time when the cost of treatment has become overwhelming.
Despite the support, Kwadwo Kwekyre appealed to colleagues, fans and the general public to continue supporting him financially, noting that he still requires additional funds to cover his medical bills.
