Wendy Shay, a Ghanaian musician, has shared her experience in mediating a peaceful resolution between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy after their dispute at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards VGMA19 now TGMA.
Following her win as New Artist of the Year, Wendy Shay visited Mr. Kofi Aban‘s home to thank him for supporting her show.
Mr. Aban discussed the unfortunate events of the night, emphasizing the need for unity within the music industry.
Wendy Shay then asked for Mr. Aban’s help, which ultimately led to her facilitating a dialogue between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.

I posed the question to my supervisor about how he could provide assistance to them, and he answered that he doesn’t have their contact. Nonetheless, I disclosed that Shatta is someone I know, so I proceeded to call Shatta in the presence of my boss and informed him my boss wanted to meet with him, and I subsequently placed another call to Stonebwoy. My boss asked to meet with them that same evening and even pledged to provide them with financial compensation if the issue was resolved, she revealed.
She confirmed that she was the one who initiated it, but Nana Aba Anamoah joined in while they were discussing the matter with Mr. Kofi Aban.
