A well-known media figure Nana Romeo has expressed dissatisfaction with the Minister of Communications, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George.

As host of Okay FM’s Ekwanso Dwoodwoo drive time show, Nana Romeo suggests that Sam George should concentrate on pressing matters rather than conflicting with Multi Choice Ghana, the operators of DStv.
Speaking on his own show today, he revealed that DStv is not a necessity and its purchase is entirely optional.

“If you believe you possess the financial means to afford DStv, you may choose to purchase one and pay for it every month” he said.
Romeo pointed out that DStv’s endeavors have enabled Ghanaians to watch live matches, while also contributing to the resurgence of the local movie industry.
He went on to say…Producers in the film industry acknowledge the support they receive from MultiChoice. Moreover, DStv provides an outlet for young football fans to watch matches.
Despite having over 50 television stations nationwide, none of them can broadcast live EPL, German Bundesliga, Spain, and other European games.
