Gospel singer Mabel Okyere has clarified her previous statement regarding her virginity in a recent interview.
The Anuonyam (Glory) hitmaker had revealed on Tuesday, June 11, 2025, that she is single and a virgin in an interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM’s popular Ekwanso Dwodwoo drive-time show.
When asked about her current relationship status, she responded, “I am a virgin, and I have said that on numerous occasions.”
Her announcement has sparked significant discussion on social media and mainstream media.
Nevertheless, in a subsequent interview on Accra-based Power FM 97.9mhz today with Agyeman Nie, she reversed her previous statement, asserting that she is not a virgin.
According to her, she was surprised by the presenter’s question and asked Agyeman to assess her facial expression to determine whether she is a virgin or not.
