The Ghanaian music community is reeling from the sudden loss of legendary highlife musician Dada KD.
His manager on Saturday morning confirmed the news on Adom FM, detailing the events leading up to the singer’s death.
According to him, after being rushed to the hospital, he was initially denied entry to three hospitals due to the absence of a doctor but was later admitted to a different facility, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
As the nation mourns the loss of the celebrated “Fatia Fata Nkrumah” composer, a poster announcing his one-week observation has surfaced.
The poster, shared by veteran musician and producer Kwame Mickey, indicates that the observation will take place on June 21, 2025, at the East Legon Executive Club House, commencing at 7:00 a.m.
Born Nana Kwaku Duah, the late singer was 54 years old at the time of his untimely passing.
