Renowned Ghanaian filmmaker Fred Amugi has issued a rallying call to his peers in government, urging them to contribute to the growth of the creative arts industry.
While speaking with Becky, a journalist from Multimedia Group Limited, he underscored the need for those in the industry who hold government positions to assume a proactive role in driving progress.

In his view, the time for lamenting past challenges is over, and it is now time for action.
As Amugi aptly puts it,
“The complaints were that no one paid attention to our theatre and film. Now that they’re in government, it’s time to push and make things happen.”
