Gospel musician Efe Grace has openly discussed her motivations for initially pursuing a career in secular music before fully committing to gospel ministry.
In an interview on BrytXtra on BrytTV, the vocalist acknowledged that financial considerations influenced her early decision to venture into secular music.

“I was thinking about the money. I wanted to do something to make a living, and I thought there was more money in secular music than gospel,” she confessed.
Efe Grace pointed out that although secular music seemed more lucrative, her eventual calling into gospel became clear over time. She stressed that her switch was not just about passion, but a divine redirection towards leveraging her gift to positively impact lives through gospel music.
Her revelation has sparked conversations on the financial struggles many gospel musicians face, compared to the seemingly more rewarding secular music industry.
