Ghanaian journalist Afua Asantewaa has gotten her first appointment after ending her sing-a-thon which was an attempt to break the current Guinness World Record for the longest singing marathon.
Afua who set her personal record of 126 hours 52 minutes has been announced as the New Tourism Ambassador In Ghana at the after party event that came off on Friday December 29 at the Akwaaba Village in Accra.
Now Afua is waiting for Guinness World Record people to confirm her as the new queen to hold the record of the longest singing individual after beating Sunil Waghmare, an Indian who sang for 105 hours in March 2012.
She started her journey at midnight on December 24 and it has ended today, December 29, 2023.
