Information reaching SIRKENN.com, is that Ghanaian Rapper Edem is in court.
According to a publication by graphic.com.gh Edem was arraigned at the Kaneshie District Court on Monday morning December 12, 2023 for allegedly knocking down a woman on the George Walker Bush Highway around 2 a.m. last Saturday.
The report added that, the ‘Zero to Hero’ composer was reportedly driving an unregistered Honda Touring vehicle at the time.
According to court documents, the woman, who has not been identified, has unfortunately passed away.
When Edem stood before the court, which was presided over by Nana Abena Asor Owusu Amenyo, he was charged with two counts of recklessly causing hurt and careless and inconsiderate driving.
However, Edem’s plea was not taken during the court appearance.
The rapper must appear in court again on February 15, 2024, and has been granted bail in the amount of GH¢50,000 with two sureties.
