According to him, many women have turned to “høøk-up” culture as a means of coping with financial difficulties.
“A lot of our ladies have turned to ‘høøk-up’ because of the economic hardship in the country. For real,” he said this in an interview on Showbiz 360 on TV3.

He stated that many ladies have placed financial benefits over emotional connections to make ends meet.
“At first, if you wanted to propose to a lady, you could tell her ‘I love you’ and she would reply with ‘I love you too’. Now, if you tell a lady, ‘I love you’ she would reply with ‘My phone is damaged, give me money to fix it’,” he explained. “Nobody has time for feelings again.”
