The first son of well-known actor Emeka Ike, Michael Ike, has expressed how much he despises his father.
This came after Emeka Ike accused Suzanne Emma, his first wife, of a number of transgressions.
The Nollywood actor claimed that as a result of her acts, he was left in despair and lost both his children and his school.
Suzanne retaliated, disputing the allegation that the actor was violent and had almost rendered her disabled.
Michael expressed her feelings as well, saying that he had grown to detest his father because of the harsh ways in which he had behaved.
“When I met my mum, the first thing I said was I really hate my father,” he declare
Michael expressed his discontent with his father’s discussion of their personal matters, saying, “I told him we need to talk.” I also expressed my displeasure with the manner you are discussing our personal matters. Would you please just stop? I also had to let him know how disrespectful he was to the family. I came to the conclusion that I shouldn’t respect someone like this.
He mentioned his father telling him he would never be successful.
“The next morning I got a ten minutes video. It’s not the first time. He said, ‘you’re doing music, you will never prosper. Don Jazzy will never see you. If I see you on the side of the road, I will spit on you,” Michael disclosed.
2015 saw the divorce of Emeka Ike and Suzanne Emma’s marriage by a Lagos Island Customary Court due to accusations of violence.
