Ghanaian musician Xheila Acheampong, daughter of legendary highlife icon Nana Acheampong, has shared a significant obstacle she encountered early in her music career.
In an interview with Dave Hammer on Hello FM‘s Entertainment Review, the emerging singer revealed that she almost abandoned her aspirations due to a disheartening experience with a group that initially promised to support her career.
As Xheila recounted, the group altered the narrative, making it appear as though she had been seeking help, an experience that left her feeling deeply disheartened.
“I felt discouraged, like my talent wasn’t being respected. It almost made me stop,” she shared.
Xheila has continued to pursue her goals with determination, despite facing challenges.
