Ghanaian singer Mabel Okyere has recounted her experience with the frequent power outages, popularly referred to as dumsor, and how it impacted her second album.

In a conversation with Agyeman Nie on Accra-based Power FM and TV XYZ, she noted that whenever she talks about her second album, she remembers the dumsor era.
According to the Anuonyam – Glory (Aha Ye Kwan Ho) composer, the widespread dumsor in Ghana in 2016 hindered the promotion of her album, “Mewo Jesus“.
