As announced by SIRKENN.com few days ago, the newly recruited sports team for Fakye TV, based in Kumasi, has been officially launched.
The team poised for action is being led by experienced sports broadcaster Abou Diaby, known in private life as Joseph Owusu Effah.
Abou leverages his expertise gained in the industry over the years. Previously, he worked at Shalom FM in Berekum, Bono Region before joining Wontumi Radio and TV in Kumasi. At Wontumi, he presented local news and occasionally hosted the sports show when King Eben, the regular host, was unavailable. He later joined Sompa FM/TV as sports host before leaving the station for a period.

Luther King, known to the sports community as “break down, touch down”, is a new addition to the team. He brings experience from Agyenkwa FM in Kumasi and Atoobu FM in Atebubu to lead foreign presentation and commentary.
Anuanom Media has brought on board Bigbroda GH DE Maestro, an accomplished presenter and former staff member of AP Radio and Television. His expertise in soccer analysis will be invaluable as an analyst for the team. Bigbroda GH, whose real name is Oduro Wilkenson, worked at Asanteman FM before joining AP Radio and Television.

Habib A.Mohammed, a former sports analyst at Precise 105.9FM, has also joined the team.

Another member of the Fakye Sports team who will be executive producer for the show is Bin Nas
The final addition to their team is Ricardo Varas Benag, who made the move from Sompa FM/TV to reunite with former colleagues Abou Diaby and Luther King. Varas is a versatile sports broadcaster skillfully combines local sports presentation with analysis.

The Fakye Sports show debut comes on February 10th and it will be air Mondays to Fridays, 7am -7:30am, 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm, and lastly on Saturdays 6:00 am to 10: 00 am offering engaging sports content and in-depth analysis for sports enthusiasts.
