Halifax Ansah-Addo, a presenter at Despite Media Group, has exposed Afua Asantewaa after her recent outburst.

The first Ghanaian personality to attempt a Guinness World Record revealed that she did not receive GHS 20,000 from Dr. Bawumia, former vice president of Ghana and NPP presidential candidate in the 2024 election, and his team.

After her expose, Socrates Sarfo denied the claims, prompting Afua to invoke curses on him via her Instagram story for labeling her ungrateful.S

She wroteI’m that powerful? You made money whilst I struggled in that box. And you want to tag me ungrateful. For telling the truth? God will deal with you Socrate’s and all fake team members.

In the midst of the allegations, Okay FM presenter Halifax revealed that Afua stated if she wants to speak, heads will roll.

The entertainment journalist, in a viral video, disclosed that discussing issues surrounding Afua’s 2023 Sing-a-Thon would prompt the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCo) to invite her.

He said

“Did she say when she opens her mouth to speak about the happenings at the 2023 Sing-a-Thon, heads will roll? Me too, when I speak, EOC0 will invite her”.

To substantiate his arguments, Halifax observed that the GTA’s expenditure on Afua Asantewaa, along with the GH¢20,000 cash donation from Bawumia, could have covered the salaries of over 500 people.

Halifax provided further insight into the contract between the GTA and Afua Asantewaa, highlighting substantial expenses associated with promoting tourism.

Halifax also drew attention to an invoice from the Accra City Hotel to the GTA, which showed that Afua Asantewaa’s accommodation costs totaled GH¢9,000.

“Why would Accra City Hotel, formerly Novotel, issue this receipt to the GTA? An invoice for accommodation for Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, from the 21st to 24th December 2023, and 28th to 30th December 2023. Only you stayed in a room that cost GH¢9,00?” he questioned.

Halifax responded to Afua’s claim that she did not directly receive any financial assistance from former Vice President Bawumia, saying, “Isn’t the cost of Bawumia transporting his car to support her more substantial than the lozenges she stated she received?”

He further questioned Afua’s recent statements regarding her husband’s alleged lack of disclosure about the cash donation, highlighting discrepancies in her account.

“Isn’t it unusual that she stated her husband, with whom she shares a bed every night, did not inform her of the donation? It was only after Socrate Safo and Salam revealed the truth that she acknowledged her husband and father were aware,” Halifax observed.
