Burniton Music Group’s Head of PR, Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng, has issued a stern warning to DJ Lord OTB regarding his recent claims.
According to DJ Lord OTB, he was instructed to refrain from playing Shatta Wale’s songs at the Accravaganza.
The event, which took place at Ghud Park, Accra Mall, on March 29, 2025, featured award-winning reggae and dancehall star Stonebwoy as the headliner, along with several other notable DJs and performers.
In a statement on his social media, DJ Lord revealed that during his DJ set alongside Merqury Quaye, he included some Shatta Wale tracks in his playlist, as he believed the artist’s music is an integral part of Ghana’s musical experience.

Following his allegations, Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng, head of PR at Burniton Music Group, has instructed Dj Lord OTB to provide the name of the individual who directed him to cease playing Wale’s songs at the Accravaganza on behalf of Stonebwoy’s management by 12 midday, with the threat of legal action if he fails to comply.
She wrote;
Dj Lord OTB you have up until 12 (midday April 2, 2025) to produce the name of the so-called ‘top board official’ who gave you that instruction. Be ready to prove that it came from Stonebwoy camp, else we will sue you till you sell your last pendrive to repair the damage. This nonsense name calling must stop! scapegoatseason
