Ghanaian gospel artist Selina Boateng has appealed to the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) to prioritize royalty payments.
In an interview on HitzPraiseZone on Accra-based Hitz FM, she expressed disappointment at receiving 150 Ghana cedis in royalties from GHAMRO annually despite producing five albums.

It is extremely disappointing to produce 5 albums and receive a meager 150 Ghana cedis as royalties from GHAMRO for an entire year. I pray God will intervene and inspire them to take corrective action, she stated.
When questioned by host Nii Noi about her friends overseas, she stated that they frequently mention their royalties are more substantial than those in this country.
