GADone Records has issued a formal statement in response to Kofi Jamar‘s allegations of neglect.
Recently, the ‘Ekorso‘ hitmaker disclosed that the label had excluded him from activities since last year, despite their contract being set to expire in 2025.
Kofi Jamar subsequently announced the conclusion of his contractual agreement with the label in a post on his official X page.

“l’m no longer with @GADoneRecords. For those who’ve been asking, our contract ends legally this year, and they stopped reaching out since last year. It’s not fair when you ignore an artiste approaching the end of a contract. At least I need closure.I reached out several times but to no avail”
Addressing the rumors, the label firmly denied any wrongdoing and reaffirmed the artist’s contract status.
In closing, they expressed their eagerness to resolve the matter with utmost professionalism and discretion, prioritizing the maintenance of positive and respectful business affiliations with their artists.

Official Statement from GADone Records Regarding Kofi Jamar
Our attention has been drawn to, and we wish to address the recent public statements by Kofi Jamar (“the Artist”), who is currently signed under an exclusive contract (“the Contract”) with GADone Records (“the Label”).
While we acknowledge and respect the artist’s talent and contributions made during our journey together, we believe in upholding a standard of professionalism, integrity, and mutual respect values that are core to our brand and essential to our partnerships. Unfortunately, recent actions
and statements made by the Artist on social media and in public have been inconsistent with the expectations outlined in the Contract.
To reiterate, the Artist remains under a valid and binding contract with the Label. As of today, he has yet to fulfil all his key obligations under the Contract. Also, there have been repeated breaches of the Contract by the Artist, notably the unauthorised release of music through personal distributor accounts and engagement in business activities without the Label’s consent – actions which are all in direct violation of his obligations under the Contract.
Additionally, at all material times, the Artist has had full and ongoing access to both his designated managers and the Label’s regional head. Accordingly, any claims that the Label neglected or ignored the Artist are unfounded.
It is therefore regrettable that he has chosen to air grievances publicly through misrepresentations rather than address them through the proper, professional channels. Accordingly, we find it necessary to clarify that the views and behaviour expressed by the Artist are his alone and do not reflect the true state of affairs at GADone Records, and appear intended to damage the Label’s reputation.
Nonetheless, we remain committed to resolving this matter with discretion and professionalism, as we have always prioritised a respectful and collaborative business relationship with our artists.
No further public comments will be made by the Label at this time.
