Ghanaian highlife musician Kojo Kinn has issued a response to Wei Ye Oteng‘s remarks directed at him.

The musician and pundit, in a post, urged Charterhouse Ghana to establish a category honoring both veteran and new music executives, including the late Daddy Lumba’s wife Akosua Serwaa, Goodies Music, Kwame Mickey, Hon Okraku Mantey, Bandex, Frimprince, and Aggiecoat.

Dear, Charterhouse Ghana this year’s music awards , kindly create a category that will honor music executives, from the old to the new, people like Akosua Serwaa, Goodies Music , Kwame Mickey , Hon Okraku Mantey, Bandex, Frimprince, Aggiecoat etc. There are a lot of current music executive producers who are doing very well today, theirs can be competitive with a technical category. I believe this will throw light on those who paved the way some years ago and also motivate the few executive producers we have today, maybe it will influence other executives to invest in our music 🙏🏽

The music producer commenting blasted the musician, alleging that his interest in Akosua Serwaa is the reason he is advocating for Charterhouse Ghana to honor the music executives.
He wrote;

The musician swiftly responded to him, stating that Wei Ye Oteng hurts Akosua Serwaa and regularly berates her online. He added that his hurt will never change the love he has for the late musician’s wife.

Wei Ye Oteng you see this negative energy you dropped under my post, if it were to be anyone else, I would’ve deleted but since it’s coming from you, a key contributor to Ghana music, let’s highlight it for posterity.

Your hatred for Akosua Serwaa can never change my love 😍 for her (Choices), I see you all the time writing a lot of negative comments about her on posts set to ridicule her. I see that and pass peacefully because we all have our opinions and facebook is a free world , all I have done for this woman is to put a smile on her face without disrespecting anyone.
But trust me this your energy will come back to hit you, this is Ghana Music and you know what I’m saying

Eheee las las Akosua Serwaa isn’t a “certain woman” but An Executive Producer who invested in Ghana music way before your masters taught you how to pick vocals in the studio
