Ghanaian rap sensation Sarkodie has reflected on his encounter with French soccer star Ousmane Dembele.

According to Sarkodie, he met the reigning Ballon D’or winner through his friend Memphis Depay, whom he calls Brother.
In an interview with popular broadcaster King Eben on Lawson sports on Lawson FM/TV, as monitored by SIRKENN.com, Sarkodie revealed that he was initially scheduled to meet Memphis, who arrived with Dembele. He admitted that he was not familiar with Dembele before their meeting, as he does not follow soccer much, and his team provided him with background information.
Sarkodie described Dembele as a humble and down-to-earth person.
