A prominent media personality, Sammy Adu Boakye of Kessben Media, has warned young individuals with unrealistic aspirations to reconsider their dreams of becoming radio or TV presenters.

The host of Church Bells on Kessben FM and TV asserts that remuneration in the media industry is insufficient, posing financial challenges for aspiring professionals.

He emphasized that these conventional channels will become redundant in a few years, especially traditional TV and radio.

To any young man or woman who dreams so badly of becoming a radio or TV presenter….  Please be advised, you’d struggle to make ends meet. It doesn’t pay. Don’t be deceived by the few flashes you see around.  One out of 200 is not success . (This is in response to the 119-year-old woman who appealed to me to fix her grandson in the radio space).

What you don’t even know is that these traditional channels will become irrelevant in a few years, especially offline TV and radio. In addition, people in it will barely go for you to be employed. Employment opportunities are very slim.

Please find something more useful to do that can put food on the table consistently. Even after school, learn a trade, possess a skill, and you can have the radio or TV as a hobby.

Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
