A section of Nigerians have mocked veteran Nollywood actor Yul Edochie over a failed prophecy for the Nigerians.
According to him the Super Eagles were going to win the game in the regulations time without traveling to penalty shootouts.
He wrote on his Facebook wall as;
“Today’s game will not get to penalty shootout.
Nigeria will defeat Ivory Coast comfortably.”
After 90 minutes of soccer the Ivorian came from a goal down to beat Nigerians by 2:1 to clinch the trophy on their home soil.
