Michael Asare Boadu has rendered a formal apology to his fellow journalists in the media fraternity following the comments he made on a podcast program.

The sports journalist representing Sporty FM on the 4 Poles podcast made derogatory statements about Don Summer of Angel FM Kumasi and Dan Kwaku Yeboah of Peace FM in connection with their interviews of Derrick Kohn Uncle.
His statements triggered substantial backlash within the industry, particularly on social media, where many rebuked him for showing disrespect to his seniors.
A former Sompa FM and TV presenter has apologized for his comments barely twenty-four hours later.
He said “my intentions were pure, but my words were irresponsible, disrespectful, and unfair, falling below professional standards”.

After reflection, I sincerely apologize to my journalist colleagues for my wrong and insulting remark on the 4 Poles podcast.
My intentions were pure, but my words were irresponsible, disrespectful, and unfair, falling below professional standards.
I take full responsibility and regret the hurt caused. I withdraw the remark and seek forgiveness from Don Summer, Dan Kweku Yeboah, their families, colleagues, listeners, and the media community. I will reach out to them personally and do the needful. 🙏
Moving forward, I will be more respectful and professional. I was wrong, and I sincerely apologize.😊
