Ghanaian entertainment pundit Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has descended on people speaking against Sonnie Badu.
According to the renowned entertainment critic those who believe the award-winning gospel musician faked his recent accident for publicity ahead of his “Rhythms Of Africa” concert that came off at the Grand Arena on December 9, 2023 are ignorant.
Responding to the criticise from the public on UTV’s United Showbiz on Saturday, December 16, 2023, Asamoah-Baidoo stated that such claims are baseless, especially for those who have a genuine understanding of Sonnie’s character and work ethic.

He continued that Badu’s history as the first gospel performer in Ghana to sell out stadiums just via his musical ability, dispelling the need for eye-catching antics.
In response to questions about how Badu performed in spite of the alleged injury, Asamoah-Baidoo cited that Badu took medication to ease his agony, which allowed him to perform brilliantly at the event.
