Although the Bhim nation Boss did not mention any names, a section of social media users have associated the lyric with a subtle jab at his arch rival Shatta Wale, who was recently arrested and detained by Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO).
This adds another layer of complexity to “The Torcher”, an EP already receiving strong reactions for its bold sound and messaging. For many listeners, Stonebwoy’s lyric is more than just wordplay—it’s a reminder of the long-running tensions in Ghana’s dancehall scene.
