It is official that popular media practitioner, Nana Kweku Mensah better known as King Kaninja, has resigned from Ignite Media, parent company of Original TV, Original 91.9 FM, and Metro TV Ghana.

The former host of Original sports update on Original TV, airing weekdays at 8pm, shared the news on his Facebook page.

After thoughtful reflection, have decided to bring to a close a profound chapter of my professional journey with Ignite Media, specifically Metro Tv, Original Tv, and Original Fm, where l served as a presenter & a producer for three years.
Ignite Media offered me a platform to grow, to learn, to be challenged, and to find my voice as a journalist. For this, I am profoundly grateful.
I am thankful to management, editors, producers, and colleagues whose guidance, support, and belief in my work made the journey worthwhile. The lessons learned in the field and behind the scenes have strengthened my craft and deepened my sense of responsibility as a journalist.
